The vast majority of criminal justice impacted individuals grew up without a father figure in their lives, making parenting and life skills training paramount to successful reintegration and family reunification. The United States currently has the highest percentage of fatherlessness in the world, with almost 18 million children growing up without a father in the home, making up over 23% of America’s kids.

JBBH parenting, character and life skills programs are designed to give our participants the tools and knowledge to nurture your children post incarceration or military deployment. Our parenting classes create a faith driven safe environment where participants can ask questions and receive guidance from experienced professionals and groups of their peers. Our programs help teach fatherhood development principles as well as life skills and etiquette tools that help parents fill gaps that they often never knew existed. We encourage increased family engagement and we support initiatives to help families build trust.
